It doesn't matter where Diablo 4 players come from or which platform they prefer is, Blizzard is Diablo IV Gold announcing in an announcement that their next entry of Diablo 4 will be games that play across platforms and without restriction on region, allowing friends to play without limitations.

While Diablo 3 was one of the most popular PC titles of 2012, as it was revealed that the Ultimate Evil Edition came out for PS4 and Xbox One, it significantly changed the way the game was played by its players. This was the very first Blizzard release for consoles in the modern age of the company, and it opened the way in the direction of Overwatch, Diablo 2: Resurrected and Diablo 4 to follow.

In light of how well Diablo 3's gameplay has been translated to consoles, players should expect the same high-quality experience for Diablo 4.
